I was so intrigued by this happy, dancing green-headed guy that I had to check out the Free Your Buddy website to see what it was all about.
It turns out this is a teaser for a new interactive online game. That’s right: forget about your World of Warcraft and Neopets because Free Your Buddy is set to become the next big thing.
If you’re as ancient as me, you might remember those old text-based adventure computer games. The kids might think that sounds really uncool, but they were huge in the 80s!
Anyway, Free Your Buddy is based on the same idea. You use an IM window to communicate with Buddy and help him find a way out of the computer he’s trapped inside.
As an old text-based game player, this sounds like addictive stuff.
