PlayStation Network, the online platform which enables the PS4 and PS3 to connect to the Internet, went down for 12 hours this week. And some people are still having trouble getting online.
This video features a well-known gaming YouTuber discussing the PSN downtime, which led users to nickname PSN PoSN (for Piece of Shit Network) or PlayStation Notwork.
This YouTube makes some good points, especially about how no one is particularly surprised when a service is knocked offline these days, because it happens so often.
PSN used to be free, but just like Xbox Live it now requires a paid subscription. Which is why so many people get annoyed when it goes down for hours at a time.
