Bir Tawil is the size of London, and yet neither country wants it. Why? Because if they admit to owning Bir Tawil, they’ll be losing their claim over The Hala’ib Triangle, which is much more desirable.
The British are to blame, as usual, as they created the two borders. Which led directly to Bir Tawil being unwanted for over 100 years and counting.
