The Nintendo 3DS is a handheld games console capable of displaying 3D games without the need for the user to wear 3D glasses. Pretty cool, huh?
Nintendo certainly thinks so, but it’s also aware that people are unwilling to pay the asking price for the 3DS, so the Japanese firm has introduced the 2DS to its line-up.
The Nintendo 2DS removes the 3D element and the clamshell design. The counter is that it’s $40 cheaper, but still, this seems a trifle pointless.
