Iranian Elections Rigged? Video | Jon Stewart Points Out The Facts

If you haven’t heard by now, the new Iranian president is now Ahmadinejad even though an estimated 80% of the voters voted against him.

This, of course, is a bad sign for the western world since Ahmadinejad has expressed his disdain for America and reform in the past. Oh, and he’s also “batshit insane” as Jon Stewart points out in this clip.

Jon Stewart may play off his show as a parody of a real news show, but most of the time I find myself learning new things that I never saw on the real news. For example, the fact that the winner was declared even before all the results were in is reason enough to incite riots.

Though, it’s important to remember that the “President” of Iran doesn’t hold nearly as much power as Ayatollah Khomeini in the country. Many are assuming that an Iranian revolution will soon start and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Ayatollah Khomeini was attacked.
