Last night police arrested Philip Markoff, the alleged “Craigslist Killer.” Philip is suspected with being involved with an armed robbery on April 10th and the murder of Julissa Brisman.
Why a 22 year old student from Boston University would commit random acts of violence is still a mystery. Even his fiancee, who planned to marry the man in August of this year, refuses to believe the authorities.
Even though fiancee Megan McAllister claims Markoff “could not hurt a fly,” the computer evidence and surveillance above shows that the man was at both the locations where the victims were.
Sure, lap dancers and erotic masseuses aren’t very well respected professions. Though at the same time, no one would expect a medical student with a clean record to commit these types of voilent acts. If Markoff is really the “Craigslist Killer” he’s certainly changing the public face of crime.
