14-year-old teen singing sensation Jack Vidgen has taken out the 2011 Australia’s Got Talent title. And with this self-penned track “Yes I Am,” we can see exactly why.
Unlike Susan Boyle, Paul Potts, and the franchise’s other prominent singing contestants, this kid offers us more than just a voice. Not bad at the tender age of 14, is it?
“Yes I Am” is one of those perfectly uplifting pop tracks, as well crafted as it is inspirational. No wonder Sony Music Australia, Jack’s new record company, is rushing to release the tune as a single.
Whether Jack can enjoy a long career as a recording artist remains to be seen, but he’s certainly got all the makings of a star!
