23 years old (birthday February 28, 1985) and ready for action, this Serbian tennis player is ready to make it all the way to the gold.
Having had a disappointing round in the Athens Olympics with being eliminated in the first round, she still counts the experience as a positive one and hopes to have an even better time this year by getting a medal.
Through it all, Jelena relies on strong support from her whole family. Her father serves as her tennis coach, her brother Marco works with her as her fitness coach, and her mother stands as her number one fan and pillar of strength through good times and bad.
When she’s not playing tennis, Jelene is happy to stand as a UNICEF National Ambassador for Serbia and study economics at the university in Belgrave.
