If you’re in the United States, today is Labor Day, a national public holiday honoring workers and the contribution they make to society.
To celebrate Labor Day, John Oliver from Last Week Tonight made a special video which is embedded above for your viewing pleasure.
Oliver doesn’t really explain much about Labor Day, using the opportunity to instead make wisecracks about other public holidays and the strange superstitions surrounding them.
Still, for the average person in the U.S., this is a day of rest, when you can put your feet up and have a well-deserved break for 24 hours before heading back into the Hellhole you call work.
