It was Gay Pride this past weekend, with parades happening in cities around the world. Not every country though, as some are trying to outlaw the very act of being gay.
In New York it was business as usual though, with thousands of people turning up to celebrate the LGBTQ community. As this CBS New York video shows.
There was some trouble, with anti-gay campaigners turning up to try to disrupt events. And others turning the whole thing into a political protest against Trump and his cronies.
These were sideshows to the main event, however, with the vast majority in attendance purely and simply to celebrate their own sexuality.
