Judd Apatow Plays Agony Aunt Video | Director’s Advice for Teenage Girls

24 sec read

If I were a teenage girl looking for life advice, I wouldn’t have approached Judd Apatow for it. But the director shows his sensitive side with this episode of Rookie Mag’s “Ask a Grown Man.”

The pain and awkwardness from the girls asking the questions is palpable. It made me so glad I never have to go back to those uncertain years. But Apatow deals with each one with a sweetness and honesty that’s so endearing.

Apatow’s really like the big brother many of us never had. He lays it on the line with his frank appraisals of kissing, self image, male gossip and more. And he even sings to drive the point home!
