Singer-songwriters are a dime a dozen, but good ones are rare. Rarer still are decent comedy singer-songwriters. Thankfully, YouTube has uncovered several of these over the years.
Forget Tay Zonday, Jon Lajoie, and the others, as Julian Smith is the latest to enter the hall of fame. Smith does a random mish-mash of stuff on YouTube, but Red Eye Flashes Twice is by far the best thing so far.
The best thing of all is that the lyrics are entirely accurate: red eye does indeed flash twice, and how many photos are ruined by friends and family members not realizing and moving too soon?
