Motorbikes are dangerous things at the best of times. How many occasions have there been where you’ve heard about people falling off or even seen bad traffic accidents involving bikes? And the bikers always come off worst.
And what do some of these mad bike freaks do? Make it even more dangerous by taking their bikes off road and doing stunts on them, sometimes death defying ones at that.
This video shows Julien Dupont displaying some of those awesome skills around France. Not only does he throw his bike around in ways I didn’t think possible, he also uses the local environment and buildings brilliantly well to his advantage.
The journey across the beams of the bridge is surely the most impressive stunt he does, at least on this video compilation.
The whole thing reminds me of the art of free running or parkour, just this time with a beast of bike underneath you.
And do you know what’s even more amazing about this video than any of the various stunts and tricks? The fact that the police don’t come along and instantly arrest the lot of them.
