After successfully rebooting Jurassic Park with Jurassic World, Steven Spielberg has exec-produced a direct sequel called Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Fallen Kingdom sees Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard returning in order to escort their dinosaur friends safely off the island.
The reason for this rescue mission? A volcano is going to blow, and the trailer suggests the bulk of the film is detailing how the humans and dinosaurs both fight for survival.
It’s a strange plot, but one which gives the director plenty of scope to show action sequences. Some of the scenes look genuinely scary too.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is due in theaters on June 22nd, 2018.
