Justin Bieber has been caught making a racist joke. He asks why black people are afraid of chainsaws before repeatedly using the N word as an (unfunny) punchline.
Bieber clearly shouldn’t have told this joke. Doing so in private would be bad enough, but this was filmed for his crappy feature-length documentary.
However, it would be too easy to use this as an opportunity to launch an attack on Bieber. He’s apologized and blamed his immaturity. Which is probably accurate.
The problem is that Bieber hasn’t grown up. He may no longer tell racist jokes, but he’s in the news every day for doing something else dumb.
That is the real problem here… Bieber is too rich and too famous to care what he says or does.
