Uncle Chin and Uncle Same, aka Joe and Bart are two Asian-American roommates that are the latest YouTube phenomenon. With their original comedy, they poke fun at nearly every Asian stereotype and have gained millions of viewers.
These East LA dwellers have been good friends since College (majoring in Pimpology of course). As they claim in a recent interview, they first wanted to be porn stars, but their genitalia were too large. Ever since, their porn industry rivals have been leaving bad comments about their videos.
Even though they are now “YouTube Stars” and are working with independent directors, they still are open to working with other less well known YouTuberans. As Joe says,“If if weren’t for our fanbase, we’d still be a bunch of losers.”
’Korean History Channel’ Short
This is perhaps their most famous short on YouTube. Even though it was taken back when the group was shooting themselves, the short is still considered their best work. Bart likes to say, “There’s something really sexy about the ghettoness of our old videos.”
