Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have welcomed a third child into the world.
The royal couple have had a baby boy, but at the time of writing they haven’t announced the name. Hence their third child is being called simply “the royal baby”.
Kate Middleton was admitted to hospital early on Monday morning, and gave birth just after 11am London time.
Mother and baby are both reported to be doing well, and the family have now left the hospital. Greeted, as expected, by cheers from fans of the royal family who don’t have anything better to do than hang around hospitals.
