25 year old (birthday December 18, 1982) Czech Republic pole vault competitor Katerina Bad’urova is making her second Olympic appearance at this year’s games in Beijing.
Having finished in twelfth at the 2004 Athens games, she hopes to improve her standings this year.
Things are looking up and like they could keep getting better, as Katerina competed in the 2007 World Championships in Athletics in Osaka, Japan, taking the silver medal for the 4.75m vault and setting a new Czech national record in the process.
This is her best success so far in her career and bodes well for this year.
