This is the new official video for Kelly Clarkson’s My Life Would Suck Without You. This song is sure to be massive, and even I as not a big fan of pop music, have to admit it’s super-catchy.
The song deals with Clarkson’s fights with a boyfriend who she then takes back immediately after realizing she can’t live without him. Clarkson didn’t write the song but it does seem to shadow her own problematic relationship with Clive Davis.
Clarkson sounds really good on the single, although some of that is due to the admittedly subtle auto-tuning effects added to her vocals. Hell, everyone does it these days so why not Clarkson?
The video is one of those very ordinary, uninspired attempts at mixing live footage with a kind of play of the lyrics. It’s OK but hardly groundbreaking. But then that doesn’t matter because Clarkson is sure to have a huge hit with this tune regardless.
