Muhammad Ali is rightly considered a boxing legend, and one of the finest fighters to have ever stepped foot inside a ring. But he wasn’t invincible, as this video clearly demonstrates.
This video shows the final round of the fight between Ali and Ken Norton in 1973. Norton broke Ali’s jaw in the first round, and (unsurprisingly perhaps) went on to be declared the winner on points.
Norton has sadly passed away at the age of 70. He had suffered a series of strokes and had been in poor health for a number of years.
Norton had a magnificent career, becoming the WBC heavyweight champion and acting in a number of Hollywood movies. He will be sadly missed by family, friends, and fans.
