Viral videos, designed to advertise a product by making a completely unrelated clip, which then gets spread around the Internet, and written about on sites such as Web TV Hub, can be brilliant, or crap.
This viral video advert, for Frijj milkshakes, is the former, and really appeals to my messed-up sense of humour. Purely because it’s so stupid.
It shows residents of a fictional town called Four Ridges reacting to imminent death… by milkshake. They scream their heads off as the milkshake edges ever closer. Very, very slowly.
It’s brilliantly conceived as it sums up the idea that Frijj is very, very thick, in a fun, and inventive way. And you know what? It’s made me want to go out and buy one.
