I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga. I like perhaps two of her songs, and one of those is more because Beyonce appears on it. But it turns out Gaga can actually sing. Who’d have thought?
The reason I don’t like Lady Gaga is all the extras that she brings with her. The stupid outfits, the histrionics, the emotional outbursts, and the politics, to name just a few.
However, seeing and hearing her sing You and I on The View tells me that she can actually sing. Really, really well. And that surprises me immensely.
What it makes me wonder is how good Lady Gaga could be if she dropped the stupid stage act and just sang as loud and as proud as her heart would allow her. Now that I’d like to see. And no more meat dresses.
