Buffalo in New York suffered from devastating weather this week, as a lake-effect snowstorm hit the town, blanketing it in deep snow after just a few hours.
This video shows footage from within the lake-effect snowstorm, as a couple of hardy souls brave the conditions.
Buffalo was hit particularly hard due to its position on the shores of Lake Erie. The lake-effect snowstorm occurred when warm air evaporating from the lake collided with the cold air moving in from the north.
As much as I love snow, this is too heavy to be fun. In fact, several people have already died as a direct result of the storm. And more bad weather is predicted for the coming days.
