Kanye West doesn’t have a bad music video. As far as I’m concerned other “artists” that merely have themselves in front of a green screen or on stage while the music is playing need to stop being so lazy.
This video took some major balls to make, it’s too bad that MTV banned it for violence. WARNING: there are some disturbing images.
Sure, “Monster” was one of the first singles from Kanye’s latest album, but I had no idea that this music video even existed until yesterday. I’m guessing that most stations denied it’s release due to the numerous dead models and blood.
After the first minute or so, I really don’t care for the actual song. Jay-Z rapping about literally being a monster and using lines like “rape and pillage a village, women and children” seem really off from the Kanye’s verse. Still I prefer this video to “All Of The Lights.”
