Len Lesser, best known for playing Uncle Leo in Seinfeld, has passed away from cancer-related pneumonia at the age of 88. He will be fondly remembered.
This video shows Lesser giving an interview just last year. In it he talks about Seinfeld, as well as other highlights of his career. He actually did a lot of stuff, with his last role being that of ‘Neighbor’ in an episode of Castle in 2009.
However, to many people he will always be Uncle Leo, because Seinfeld was the highest-rated show he ever starred in.
I’m actually working my way through every Seinfeld episode again thanks to the joy of DVD boxsets. As I’m only up to Season 5 I still have lots of Uncle Leo to enjoy. But the 15 episodes Lesser appears in will now seem even more special.
