When a house falls on your head as you wander along the side of a road, I think it’s fair to say that day qualifies as being a rather unusual one. Or am I wrong?
This incredible piece of video footage shows a metal shack, in other words someone’s house, in Turkey being picked up by a freak gust of wind and deposited on the adjacent highway.
While the shack just misses taking out a couple of vehicles, one very unlucky pedestrian gets it right on top of his head. The lucky escape part of this story is that he survived the incident, after being rushed to hospital.
The shack is estimated to have weighed around a tonne, so I’m frankly amazed the guy survived being crushed by it. I bet he’ll find religion now; I know I would.
