A mariachi band and a beluga whale don’t seem like natural bedfellows, but in this video it seems like they get along swimmingly. It shows Mariachi Connecticut delivering a special performance for one of Mystic Aquarium’s residents.
Apparently it all came about when the Mexican band was playing at an aquarium wedding. They were clearly still in the musical mood once the bride and groom left, so they went in search of another appreciative audience.
And with this beluga whale, they found it. I swear I can see him smiling as he bobs about happily in time to the music.
