The competition is only getting fiercer on Australian Idol. Tomorrow we’ll say goodbye to one more contestant, as the other two prepare for the final show at the Sydney Opera House.
It’s been a really close race between media darling Wes Carr, Aussie battler Luke Dickens, and the competition’s dark horse Mark Spano. Wes is practically a shoe-in for the finale, but after this performance I hope Mark Spano joins him.
Mark looked every inch the rock star here, taking control of Fuel’s Bad Day and delivering an emotive and intense performance. There are no bells and whistles about what he does, but it’s more powerful for the lack of flash.
After a shaky start Mark’s improved week after week, peaking at just the right time. But is it enough to avoid elimination tomorrow night? We’ll have to wait and see!
