Is YouTube freezing the view counts on videos protesting scientology to prevent the videos from appearing on the front page?
I wouldn’t be surprised.
The majority of this video isn’t a rant about scientology but a speech about something else, but I reckon even just the possibility of YouTube hooking up with scientologists to drown out any criticism of scientology needs to be examined.
Someone I know had experiences with scientology, and while they have some interesting things going on, there are so many more scary things they do – especially when you want to leave.
I’m not really sure when it all comes down to it, though. Yes, freezing the view count is sneaky, but there are other alternatives.
