Despite pretty much the rest of the world condemning the cruel sport, the Spanish continue to fight, humiliate, and kill bulls in front of thousands of cheering fans.
Still, it doesn’t always go the matador’s way, with the bull sometimes coming out on top. As is the case here when bullfighter Julio Aparicio gets gored through the throat by the creature he’s goading.
As you can probably tell I’m not a fan of bull fighting. It’s cruel, it’s needless, it should be banned. You only have to look at the spikes sticking out of the bull’s sides to see how much pain is inflicted on these animals. And for what? Entertainment for deviants.
However, having said all that, it’s not nice to see anyone get hurt, and this guy clearly came off rather badly from this encounter. So I wish him well in hospital, and a full recovery from his injuries. I think they’ll leave a scar, somehow.
