We find out in Men vs. Wild, which sees Grylls take Gyllenhaal away with him to Iceland. The pair have to contend with intense cold, ice, snow, rocks, and an active volcano. So not much, really.
Gyllenhaal is the second celebrity to accompany Grylls, with Will Ferrell having already been to the Arctic Circle with him. I can only imagine the trouble they have getting insurance for these people to go away.
