One is probably the best song Metallica has ever written, recorded, and released. It’s amazing, and transcends the genre of metal by quite a margin.
There is only one thing that could make One better, and that’s hearing it played on a ukulele. Right on cue, here is a video showing just that.
This guy plays One on the ukulele amazingly well. Sure, it required multiple playthroughs as he recorded each separate part, but if anything that makes it even more impressive.
I always wanted to get good enough at the guitar to enable me to play One by Metallica. Now, perhaps I don’t have to, as I know a ukulele will do the job instead.
