Metallica must have performed Enter Sandman thousands of times at this point. And yet they have have just turned in their best performance of it to date.
This is either despite, or because of, them using a selection of toy instruments. Oh, and Jimmy Fallon and The Roots were also involved.
Metallica are back with a new album called Hardwired… To Self-Destruct. And they’re clearly keen to promote their 10th studio album in any way they can.
Still, it’s strange seeing the kings of thrash metal doing something so silly. I can’t imagine them even entertaining the idea a few years ago.
