In light of his death, a lot of people have been looking at Michael Jackson’s career and declaring that we’ve lost one of the best singer/songwriters of all time. Which is true. But MJ was also a brilliant dancer, possibly the greatest there has ever been.
Michael Jackson was a musical genius. I think that’s already been established and few people would deny it. But little has been said about how magnificent his dancing was, and how amazing the choreographed routines he performed were.
This video shows a compilation of some of his most famous dance moves, taken both from some of his music videos and his live shows. From the crotch grab to the moonwalk, they are all stunning to watch, especially when performed with such style and grace.
Has the world just lost the greatest dancer it’s ever been graced with in Michael Jackson? Probably. I’d certainly be hard pushed to think of anyone better. All we have left are our memories and videos such as this one.
