Million Dollar Quartet Performance Video | Cash, Perkins, Elvis, Lee Lewis On Letterman

If you like old-skool rock ‘n’ roll then you’ll likely love Million Dollar Quartet, a musical which has already won countless awards.

This video shows the cast performing on The Late Show With David Letterman, and it’s enough to make me want to go and see the full production, even though it means making a trek down to London to do so.

Million Dollar Quartet tells the story of Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, and Jerry Lee Lewis, who all came together on one night in 1956 to record an incredible jam session at the Sun records studio in Memphis.

This is the sort of music you just have to tap your feet to, even if the genre isn’t usually your thing. And the actors and singers imitating these rock gods do such a good job I reckon you could easily be transported back 55 years.
