Paul Allen, the childhood friend of Bill Gates and co-founder of Microsoft, has died at the age of 65. He died from complications from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Allen was first diagnosed with cancer in 2009. He fought it and beat it, but it returned a few weeks ago, and sadly, this time, he didn’t recover.
Allen co-founded Microsoft alongside Gates, making him one of the wealthiest men in the world. He then spent his money on sports teams and philanthropy.
Paul Allen will be remembered fondly by the people he knew and helped over the years. And as a tech entrepreneur for generations to come.
