There are two British bands right now that are absolutely on top of their game, and no I’m not talking about One Direction here. There is Muse, and then there is Mumford & Sons, both of which are releasing new albums.
This is Mumford & Sons performing I Will Wait, the first single to be pulled from the Babel album. It’s a stunning song, unbelievably even better when played live.
Mumford & Sons are essentially a folk rock band, but their music somewhat veers out of the bounds of that genre on occasion. The combination of instruments used means the band group always has a surprise up its sleeve.
Babel is released tomorrow (Sept. 24) and I suspect it will do phenomenally well on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as elsewhere around the world.
