Muse are one of the best bands around right now and one of the best to ever emerge from the U.K. This video shows them rocking out and performing Uprising for the MTV Video Music Awards 2009. Absolutely stunning.
If you’re not already into Muse then not only should you be ashamed of yourself, you should educate yourself as to the absolute brilliance of this band from the south-west of England. They rock big time, getting better every time I see them.
This performance of their new single, the first to be released from their new album, The Resistance, apparently signaled their American television debut. Which I find astonishing seeing as they’ve been around for 15 years.
This should, and hopefully will, signal the Muse invasion of the U.S.A. I know you guys like your country music and hip-hop but man, this British rock music needs to be heard to be believed.
