My Chemical Romance have called it a day, splitting up as a band and going their separate ways. Many fans are mortally upset at the news, but they can at least console themselves with the music MCR leave behind.
This is the music video for I’m Not Okay (I Promise), which I consider something of a modern classic.
It’s a strange thing when bands split up. It’s sad for the fans who have followed their every move for years on end, but the music never goes away, so it’s not like you’re losing anything really.
My Chemical Romance announced they were quitting with a simple message sent out to the fans. No reason was given for the split, but I’m sure it’ll all come out in later interviews.
