MySpace Comedy takes you to secret comedy shows via the web with their recent campaign MySpace Secret Stand Up. If you’ve ever wanted to attend a live comedy performance, but couldn’t, this is the closest you’ll ever get.
The campaign was designed with charity organizations in mind. At every Secret Stand Up performance, MySpace attendees donate whatever they can to the charity of the comic’s choice. Shows are free, however, locations aren’t usually revealed until a week before the performance.
Past locations have been anywhere from California to Sweden, so don’t be surprised if your town actually gets a comic. Luckily for the rest of us unlucky folks, they have highlights of the past performances displayed on the MySpace Secret Stand Up Video Channel.
Past Headliners
Even though MySpace Secret Stand Up has no affiliation with Comedy Central, you’ll find that the majority of the clips contain big-name comics. You might even hear some new material.
