MySpace Social Experiment Documentary (Vid) | Beyond Web 2.0

This is definitely a first. First came the internet which endured words such as “hype” and “fad” for over a decade before taking over the world; then came the whole idea of Web 2.0 and online social media with things like Digg and MySpace ruling social media content.

And now, here is a first of MySpace members randomly meeting other MySpace members, and documenting the entire experiment on video. This MySpace couple put out an ad before they left for their vacation to Europe to see if other MySpace users would open up their door and clean off a couch for them to crash on.

Amazingly, the response was huge and they had plenty of couches to choose from. Here is the first video of their vacation/MySpace series. Certainly takes a whole different twist on social media.
