Neil Armstrong, decorated NASA astronaut and the first man to set foot on the moon, has passed away at the age of 82. This video is a tribute to the great man, made by Sci Show.
Armstrong started his career as a pilot for the U.S. Navy. He then obtained an engineering degree and became a test pilot for experimental aircraft. He ended up at NASA just as the race to the moon was kicking off.
Armstrong was not only chosen to be an astronaut on that mission, but was selected ahead of countless others to be the first person to actually walk on this celestial object that is an ever-present in our skies.
After his space career ended Armstrong conducted himself in an exemplary fashion. And for that reason his passing has hit many hard.
