If you haven’t seen Interstellar yet then you should do so at your earliest convenience. It’s a mind-blowing science fiction movie that leaves you pondering on life itself.

But how realistic is the science behind Christopher Nolan’s epic opus? Neil deGrasse Tyson has some thoughts on that very subject.

DeGrasse Tyson clearly enjoyed Interstellar, especially for the fact that it features scientists in all the lead roles. As science fiction films go though, he prefers Contact.

The thing about Interstellar is that no one knows what the inside of a black hole looks like, so it’s a fascinating glimpse into the unknown. It also means no one can prove Nolan wrong in his assumptions.
