I’ve never been a fan of the New York Times Bestseller “Atlas Shrugged” simply because conservatives like Neal Boortz, Glenn Beck, and Rush Limbaugh praise it so often. Even when the book was required reading for my senior class, I only read about 50 pages or so of it.
But even without having known anything about “Atlas Shrugged,” any fool who enjoys decent cinema can see that this trailer is probably the most boring one of the decade.
Is it just me or is Hollywood running out of ideas? Sure, the old formula of “take a classic book and make it a classic movie” worked wonders for a while, but now the classic books being chosen aren’t even suitable for movie adaptations.
And what’s with the “Part 1” at the end of the trailer? I can’t see this catching on as the new “Twilight for adults” anytime soon.
