ABC’s new dating program Conveyor Belt of Love sounds trashy from the moment you hear the name. Is it any wonder that I can’t wait to see it?
The show’s premise doesn’t help to redeem the show. A conga line of men are presented to five single gals on a conveyor belt. They get 60 seconds to impress the ladies, who decide whether he’s boyfriend potential.
If a few women are interested, the power shifts and the in-demand man decides who he wants to take out. Then we follow the twosomes to see whether they find true love.
Something tells me you don’t find love on a conveyor belt, but I’d be happy for the show to prove me wrong. This is promising to be one of TV’s next guilty pleasures.
