Are you on Google+ yet? If not then Google wants to know why. Remember it knows where you live, what you searched for, and which mucky websites you visit on a regular basis.
Whether that’s true or not Google is trying to encourage everyone to join Google+. 170 million people have already done so, but the search and advertising giant needs more to compete with Facebook.
Not only is Google tying Google+ into all its other services, it has also just rolled out a major new redesign that is meant to make everything look and feel better.
It kinda does and kinda doesn’t. The amount of white space is disconcerting, although I’m sure adverts will show up there soon. And there’s still nothing on there to make me give up Facebook.
