New ‘Green Lantern’ Movie Trailer Video | WonderCon Brings Improved Film Footage

Warner Bros. messed it up once, but appear to have redeemed itself by releasing a new Green Lantern trailer at the recent WonderCon 2011. Will it be enough to save this comic book flick from failure?

Footage from Green Lantern was revealed last year, but it wasn’t finished and therefore made it look as though the movie was going to be a complete bust. Fortunately the new footage is much improved, and maybe Ryan Reynolds’ talent isn’t going to be wasted after all.

The problem is that Green Lantern is only really a second-string comic book character. He’s no Superman, Batman, or Spider-Man. Which means the movie could struggle to find an audience.

I guess that’s the reason Warner Bros. have made Green Lantern a movie to appeal to the mass market, and the kinds of people who actually head out to movie theaters. I hope it works, I really do. But I still have my doubts.
