New Nintendo Wii U Review Video | Polygon Tests Out Successor To The Wii, Gives Verdict

The Wii U from Nintendo was launched today (Nov. 18) in North America. The new console is the successor to the Wii, which won the previous console generation by selling more units than either the Xbox 360 or PS3.

This video shows the review of the Wii U by Polygon (the new gaming website from the people behind The Verge). It’s a fair, unbiased review which steers clear of petty opinions and sticks to the facts instead.

From what I’ve seen of the Wii U so far I agree with all of the sentiments expressed in this review.

Nintendo was opted for a more complicated system than the original Wii, and that could spell trouble. However, if the mainstream “gets” it then the Wii U could sell brilliantly. At the moment the fate of the Wii U is in the balance.
