Oliver Stone may have won 3 Oscars, but he obviously doesn’t know much about marijuana (he’s never tried the stuff according to CNN). His latest film “Savages” opens today in theaters across the US.
TIME claims that this movie makes a statement, I don’t see it from this trailer. Might as well have called it the “Scarface Of Weed.”
Guns, explosions, kidnapping, hot girls, sport cars, mansions, “good” white guys going against “bad” Mexican mafia members- it’s pretty much a rehash of every drug-related Hollywood movie in the past 20 years.
My friends and I will be going to the movies tonight (a few hours actually), and we’re certainly not going to see this glorified trash.
