The last time Samsung released a Galaxy Note handset things didn’t quite go according to plan. Mainly because battery issues caused some of them to explode.
However, Samsung knows that the Galaxy Note form factor has plenty of fans, so it’s releasing a brand new version. It’s called the Galaxy Note 8, and hopefully this one won’t set itself on fire.
This video shows The Verge getting a hands-on with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. They note the similarities to the Galaxy S8, as well as talk up some of its new features.
The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung’s new flagship phone aimed at those who like phablets (tablet-sized phones). Again, let’s just hope this one isn’t prone to exploding in people’s pockets.
